Day-wise itinerary

DAY1

Meet your chauffeur-guide and drive to Sigiriya, stopping at the Pinnawala elephant orphanage.

DAY2

Climb the Sigiriya rock fortress at sunrise, visit the Dambulla cave temple and continue to Kandy.

DAY3

Morning at the Temple of the Tooth, then drive into the hills past waterfalls and tea estates.

DAY4

Tea factory visit, Gregory Lake and the Ramayana trail at Seetha Amman Temple.

DAY5

Take the scenic hill-country train, then drive down to the south-west coast.

DAY6

Madu River boat safari, turtle hatchery and an afternoon on the beach.

DAY7

Drive to Colombo with a short city tour on the way to the airport.
